Ladies and Gentlemen! Conor Boyle

Still have to take some time and talk to Conor about gigging. Might have to leave it till the new year. We both plan on getting into the Christmas spirit pretty soon and opening a twenty day long bottle of Christmas Cheer!

I know you'll understand.

Getting The Wrong Kind Of Vibe...

Played a gig last night that left allot to be desired!

The Vibez were playing in Johny Masons last night to a crowd of about twenty people. Because of this, as a band we struggled to engage the audience. Boardem then became a problem within the band along with a lack of concentration. We were making silly mistakes when... it nearly got violent!

It was my turn for a mistake when we were playing the song Summer Of 69. Lyrics caught me out and i mixed up two lines of the song. A mistake that only the band or a die hard fan would recognise. While the band was still playing the song, Trev the lead guitarist said into the mike; "I miss the old singer" He wasn't laughing.

With half of the song still to get through, i took the professional option to forget about what he had said. Then the song finished!

Musical Proposition

An old friend of mine Conor Boyle, came to me with a proposition that interests me greatly! Conor and I used always play gigs together in Dublin and they were the best crack ever!

Conor wants for the two of us to gig again in Dundalk. Basically the two of us would do an acoustic set, no drums or bass just two guitars and vocals. We would play our own songs and a few covers. A really simple and enjoyable way to make a bit of money.

I'm not going to say any more about this development for the moment, but i will give it allot of thought! Ill keep you posted!
